Scope
This notice supplements the JPWilliamson Ventures privacy policywith MegaMine-specific detail. Together they describe the Minecraft network, account, web and native companion applications, support, commerce, and connected features.
MegaMine data categories
- Account: email, authentication identifier, display name, settings, region, and derived age bracket.
- Minecraft identity: Java UUID, name, skin or avatar reference, link status, and verified connection history.
- Connected play: sessions, destinations, worlds, realms, memberships, roles, invitations, events, competitive results, progression, collections, and rewards.
- Social and content: friends, blocks, parties, messages, chat, profiles, shared content, reports, and moderation action.
- Commerce: product, provider, provider transaction identity, subscription state, renewal and expiry, wallet changes, fulfillment, refund, and fraud signals.
- Device and communications: platform, version, locale, time zone, push token, notification choices, and support messages.
- Operations: IP address, request and security metadata, crash or diagnostic information, service health, and authoritative lifecycle events.
Age and region
At signup, country or region and birthdate are used to determine eligibility and derive an age bracket. The raw birthdate is discarded after derivation; MegaMine retains the bracket and region needed to enforce safeguards. Registration is unavailable below the applicable minimum age unless a verified parental-consent process is offered.
Payments and entitlements
Stripe, Apple, or Google receives payment credentials and returns transaction evidence. MegaMine stores the provider, product, transaction and original-subscription identity, account-binding evidence, dates, renewal state, environment, and idempotency keys needed to prevent duplicate delivery and keep access synchronized. We do not receive full card numbers.
Social, safety, and competitive records
Social and shared features necessarily expose selected profile, presence, world, event, and play information to eligible players according to your settings and the feature’s rules. Reports and automated or human moderation may review content and surrounding context to enforce safety. Competitive archives may be anonymized rather than removed when needed to preserve standings, match integrity, or other players’ records.
AI-enabled features
When a feature is identified as AI-enabled, the prompt and relevant product context may be sent to Amazon Bedrock or processed on JPWilliamson Ventures-operated AI infrastructure. Generated responses can be inaccurate and are not authoritative for account, safety, competition, or transaction outcomes. Do not submit secrets or sensitive personal information in a prompt.
Optional analytics and required records
Optional experience analytics are controlled by the consent setting exposed in the companion application. Required account, security, transaction, safety, and server-confirmed gameplay records are processed to operate the service and are not treated as optional analytics.
Deletion and retention
Authenticated deletion immediately revokes sessions and blocks new purchases, then removes or anonymizes account, profile, social, chat, device, world, realm, progression, and competitive- archive identifiers through an asynchronous process. Ordinary deletion is completed within 30 days. Limited financial, fraud, moderation, and security records follow the retention schedule in the company privacy policy.
